I ride rainy and dry and wet gravel and dusty packed dirt roads at times. Since adding this hugger my shock and under tail area stay perfectly clean up to the area of coverage towards the back of the underside of the tail of this bike, the very back and plate area still get mucked up beyond the line of coverage but that just drips off and can be rinsed much easier at cleanup time. In full rain riding the shock area was actually dry, so no more first,grit,sand,pebbles or dirt in this area. Also less spashback from the tire with no more flow of water hitting the back of your outer thighs and back. It is the fullest coverage hugger for this bike and not surprising that this comes from UK where the stock bike would only be suitable for dry days which is hardly ever over there. Pairs up nicely with a pyramid plastics front fender extender to keep your headers and radiator cleaner and protected as well. It’s expensive but I think worth it for this sturdy and functional addition to the FZ.
