Description
This SW-MOTECH Non-Electric QUICK-LOCK EVO City Motorcycle Tank Bag was designed especially for the narrow handlebar clearances and sloping tank of BMW GS models but fits many sport-touring and enduro bikes with steeply sloping tanks. With its narrow cut front it does not cause handlebar interference. Despite the narrow form in the front the expandable City EVO tank bag offers a volume of 11 to 15 liters. Compatible with the SW-MOTECH EVO QUICK-LOCK tank rings see the app chart below to determine which mounting system is appropriate for your bike.
The SW-MOTECH QUICK-LOCK tank bag system enables the luggage to be mounted or removed easily without the use of straps or magnets that may damage your motorcycle’s finish. The system includes the tank bag upper tank ring and a separately available tank ring that is designed to be installed onto the motorcycle. Once the system is assembled the tank bag can be snapped securely into place or removed by pulling a release lanyard at the front of the unit.
Note: This bag will fit the GS-Adventure with tight clearance with the factory crossbar. Your bars may have to be rotated slightly forward but you will be able to retain the crossbar.
Installation of handlebar bar backs on your motorcycle moves your handlebars closer to the rear of your tank and may cause the handlebars to interfere with ANY tank bag on many models of motorcycles.

Used on 3 trips to AK on 2 bikes. Worked great. Used on a wee Strom, then 2 trips on a Super Tenere. I also have the map holder. Now I’ve moved it to an Africa Twin Adventure Sport. Have used rox risers on all 3 bikes.

Hi there, will this tank bag fit the new Yamaha tenere 700 without getting in the way of the handlebars,
Cheers Hamish.

It’s convenient to pack small stuffs. I hope to use it for both my bikes, but did not work very well due to the shape of the tanks.
It’s pricey.

Bought this about a month ago for a fairly long trip in 100*+ heat where I knew I wanted to have water available while riding. The main pocket fits a 1.5L water bladder with room to spare. Side pockets are really small. They’re long, but very slim. Just right for a wallet/keys/phone, but they’re too slim for sunglasses or any bulky items. The tank ring system is great — easy install, and easy on/off. I haven’t used a tank bag in years because I hated the straps at gas stops, and magnets always worried me about damaging the paint. This solves all those issues. I think the shape is a good match for my Tenere’s tank.
