Very clever idea. But there’s no way to legally use this without modifying the license plate light. I’m sure the manufacturer is aware of this so why not make that clear to potential customers?

Great idea but the Alberta plates are bigger and unless your bike allows you to have the lock upward you won’t be able to open it since the plate actually covers more than the size of the whole box…

Loved the idea and would like to have been able to use it, but, unfortunately, it doesn’t fit on my 2018 Kawasaki Z900RS, unless I put it on upside-down; which isn’t an ideal solution, since anything I put in it will fall out when it’s opened.
If I ever decide to get a tail-tidy kit for the bike, I may try to install it again.

Bought the Stash Box last month, and it was delivered very promptly. Was easy to install, and functions very well, as advertised. It is not entirely waterproof, and it is possible for some water to get into the box, so I would recommend keeping documents in a ziplock bag inside. Very happy with it on our Honda 300 Rebel.

I installed this dry box on my Super Sherpa for the documents needed on a licensed bike. Keeping paperwork in a tool roll is not wise! This solved a problem fr me! Easy to install, and barely noticeable unless you are looking for it!

This is a standard purchase for any bike that I buy. It’s a whole lot better and more convenient for your registration and insurance information. A lot better than digging around in your wallet or under your seat especially in a traffic stop.
