Description
Why You Want a DrySpec Tool Tube
This large storage tube attaches directly to the outside of any flat-sided side cases and can be used to carry tool rolls as well as any other gear that can fit inside of it.
The DrySpec Large Tool Tube measures 14 inches long overall with a measurement of 12 inches from mounting foot tip to mounting foot tip. The tube body measures 12 inches from the base of the tube body to the cap with the foot at the opposite end of the cap extending 2 inches beyond the tube.
The tube is 5 inches wide at it’s widest point with a inner storage diameter of 4.25 inches. The foot at the cap end is 3 inches wide with 3 round 8mm mounting holes while the opposite foot is 2 inches wide and has 1 elongated 8mm mounting hole.
The feet provide 3/4 of an inch clearance for the main tube and 1/2 inch at the tube’s widest point.
Note:
- There is a small hole in the Tube to equalize the pressure, and allow the cap to be removed at different air pressures/altitudes. A bit of tape can be used to cover the hole, making them watertight when required.

This tube was the perfect size for the area where I installed it, and accomplished what I needed and wanted it to do.
I haven’t ridden with it installed yet so I gave it 4 stars until I see ow well it holds up.
