DrySpec D38 Rigid Waterproof Motorcycle Dry Bag
The D38 is constructed of RF welded 22oz. vinyl that guarantees 100% waterproof performance even when submerged. The D38 features a rigid core that enables the bag to be mounted to any bike with or without a top rack even when the bag is completely empty. Try that with a traditional dry bag! The rigid construction and unique 4-point strap mounting system work together enabling easy access to contents without loosening straps or removing the bag from the bike.

This is a unique waterproof bag that I have used for seven years of vacations all over the United States on a Hannigan Trike. It has stayed secure with the unique fastening devices through major weather and road conditions. It is a bit troublesome to pack with large unbendable items but is easily packed with clothing jackets and rain gear. The only problem I have had is that this past year both of the zippered side pockets on the exterior have come off. I only use them for identification papers and the last one actually blew off.

This is a nice dry bag that was easy to mount to my luggage rack, and easy to remove at night. Kept everything dry on my recent trip from Michigan to South Dakota despite the frequent rains. The rigid liner helps with packing; however, the opening is on the small side which made it a little difficult loading my packing cubes.

I recently took the rigid liner out–while I love how it helps keep the shape, I find that it’s more malleable in packing–and more comfortable for me when I ride. With the liner in, the bag encroaches an inch or two on the rider seat–just enough to reduce my space to make it less comfortable.
