Description
Unlike all other saddlebags the D20’s interchangeable center strap is the core innovation that allows the bags to be so versatile. The bags mount directly to a bike with or
without sideracks and can attach directly to other D-Series dry bags. Use the Velcro center strap for convenience the solid nylon strap for extremely muddy conditions or remove the center strap all together to mount the bags directly to a D28 or D38 dry bag. Mounting the D20 saddlebags to the D28 or D38 dry bag is the ideal solution for riders who want the extra storage but are unable to mount traditional saddlebags due to high exhausts. If you’re looking to protect your soft luggage and straps from coming in contact with the hot exhaust you can purchase the DrySpec Universal Exhaust Heat Shield For 4″ To 6″ Mufflers.

I had some very confusing issues with my order (mostly caused by me I might add) but non the less Chris and Darwin where able to get the bags to my door well in time for my trip in the coming week. I really really appreciate them, twisted throttle, and dry spec and completely intend to change all the bags that I can over to dry spec because of how awesome you guys where

I have a 2007 BMW GS650 Dakar and wanted to know if these will fit. I do not currently have racks on the back, will it be necessary to keep it away from the exhaust system? If so, do you have a recommendation on the racks to purchase for this?

With the high exhausts on that bike, you may need to add either a rack system or a heat shield over the exhaust that gets hot. You can find our Dry Spec Heat Shield on the website at https://dryspec.com/collections/straps-accessories-1/products/exhaust-heat-shield-fits-exhaust-4-to-6-in-diameter
